About us

A collective of DJs, producers and creatives from Salzburg's underground, building low-threshold club culture with a clear focus: real space for emerging talent, and — through our Tribe event series — a stage that puts more female headliners in the spotlight, alongside young, lesser-known artists who've earned their place just as much.

SonicTides itself was founded by audi0pille and co-founded by Aries, rooted in electronic music, soundsystem culture and community. We move between bass, broken patterns, Jungle, DnB, Footwork, Trap, Hardgroove, Hypnotic Techno, Trance and whatever else earns its place on the night. Genre borders are unnecessary — what matters is the sound, the energy and the people in the room.

Our goal isn't simply to throw parties. We want to build and maintain a credible, open, DIY electronic music community in Salzburg — with strong sound, thoughtful curation, diverse artists, accessible club culture and a genuine soundsystem mentality.

SonicTides doesn't need one genre. It needs one attitude: bass-conscious, rhythm-focused, adventurous, underground, energetic, open-minded, soundsystem-oriented. We give visible space to female and emerging artists, work hand in hand with Salzburg's soundsystem culture, and believe musical coherence matters more than rigid genre classification.

Music & Mixes

audi0pille has been shaping Salzburg's bass and soundsystem scene since the early 2000s — DJ, graphic designer, founder of SonicTides and co-founder of Kanom Soundsystem. His sets move through hardgroove, hypnotic techno and trance with a DIY, community-first mindset.
